Just a video on applying Thermal Paste, Thermal Compound or Thermal Grease, they are all the same thing. There are many methods to apply, but in all honesty, there is not much difference in any of them. You will probably see no more than 1 Celsius in all the methods. Here is a link to a site that did a full test with very little difference in any of the ways you apply thermal compound.
